Our nautical collection features beautifully handcrafted and hand painted fully-functional birdhouses shaped to resemble a buoy. These intricately designed birdhouses have a 1.25” hole making it perfect for nesting small to medium-sized birds. All of our nautical birdhouses have a clean-out door, ventilation and drainage holes. In order to protect the birds, non-toxic paints have been used along with a clear coat to protect the birdhouse from harsh outdoor weather conditions.Even though these birdhouses are made for the outdoors, the colors and quality are best maintained when placed in a protected area. Direct and prolonged exposure to sun and water will fade and wear these birdhouses in an accelerated manner.
