These birdhouses are handcrafted and hand painted. They measure 9”h x 9.5”w x 6”d and each retro chic birdhouse features a roof made of galvanized steel. Each birdhouse has a hole with a diameter of 1.25” to meet the Audubon Society guidelines and are made to attract Chickadee’s, Titmouse’s, Nuthatch’s, Wren’s, and Downy Woodpeckers. Each Retro Chic Birdhouse is fully functional with a clean-out door, ventilation and drainage holes. These beautiful birdhouses may be used as a nesting box or as a fabulous indoor accent. A non-toxic coat has been added along with a clear coat to protect the paint from harsh outdoor weather conditions. Even though these birdhouses are made for the outdoors, the colors and quality are best maintained when placed in a protected area. Direct and prolonged exposure to sun and water will fade and wear these birdhouses in an accelerated manner.
